Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had the one goal in her life that she has always had she has always wanted to compose and perform in country music. Evans has been reported to have said, "God has put me on this earth to be a singer." The quote is attributed to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It's the thing I'm passionate about and do the most that I've ever done, and I'm going be successful at it happen." Evans also wanted to be successful in reviving the traditional style of country music that was popularized by stars such as Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Evans was also influenced to some extent by George Jones, Tammy Wynette as well as Patty Loveless. The late 1990s were at a time when the majority of aspiring country music stars turned to new popular radio tunes Evans made her initial mark with her country music that looked to the past which was evident in her 1997 debut entitled True Lies. True Lies was not a huge success, even though it was appreciated by critics and winning an 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for the top female vocalist. Thus, for her follow-up release, 1999's No Place That Far, Evans made a bow to the producers who persuaded the artist to freshen up her music and eventually, she received the acknowledgement she'd longed for from the time she was a child. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 from Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans lived her first days of her life living with her siblings.
